Kicking Off Wave I…and Planting the Seeds for Subsequent Waves
DB Kay provides customized half-day end-user training sessions for KCS practitioners, giving them the information and skills they need to become KCS Candidates and start working with their coaches to become KCS licensed. Training will be customized to the organization’s specific Content Standard, Content Standard Checklist, Article States, technology, and workflow.
The sessions cover core KCS principles, then move quickly into a hands-on mode to give participants experience in capturing, structuring, reusing, and improving knowledge. Upon leaving the workshop, participants will have KCS Candidate competencies, and should immediately start working with their coaches to further develop their skills and become licensed.
DB Kay encourages program team members and/or trainers to co-facilitate these workshops so they can do training for subsequent waves without needing outside help.
