KCS v6 Certifications
There are three types of KCS Certifications available for the current v6 version of KCS. They are industry certifications awarded to people who are interested in establishing themselves as KCS practitioners or experts.
KCS v6 Fundamentals – For individual contributors who have experience practicing KCS in the Solve Loop. Experience includes creating, editing, and reusing articles in the request-resolving workflow while meeting article quality standards.
KCS v6 Practices – For Managers (Operational, Program, Project Managers) who are responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the health of the knowledge base and KCS Program. Technology vendors serving the KCS market can also establish their credibility with KCS v6 Practices certification. KCS v6 Practices certification goes beyond Solve Loop tasks to include the Evolve Loop and how to deploy and sustain KCS across the organization. It’s a significantly more rigorous certification than KCS v6 Fundamental.

KCS v6 Trainer – For internal company trainers or industry trainers and consultants to be accredited and allowed to perform KCS Training using materials licensed by the Consortium for Service Innovation (CSI).
